Update….

2nd June …. Just thought I’d pop on here to update you on ‘where I’m at’ currently.

So, tomorrow will be the last of my trips that I am able to do, in a day, from home. I’m going to be kind of somewhere north of Highclere Castle (yes, that place known as Downton Abbey!!) with my good friend Gill. We will be walking along part of the Wayfarer’s Way which nicely links in with my last location at Watership Down, journeyed with another Gill. Nice continuity, eh!?

Then it’s off, next week, in the lovely Wilma to parts of the Cotswolds up to and around the Burford area. I shall be visiting Woolstone, Uffington, Kelmscott, Langford, Broadwell, Kencot, Widford, Shipton under Wychwood, the Rollright Stones, Badbury Hill and Little Coxwell.

If anybody feels like joining in, then please message me and I can give you dates and approximate timings.

Towards the end of June, I will be around about William Shakespeare country. The planning for that stage of my Pilgrimage I am currently finalising, but I have dates if anyone feels they would like to join me at any of the sites.

Think that’s about all for now, I’ll be back with photos of tomorrow’s visits very soon. Fingers crossed the rain stays away – I’ve just had a look at the weather forecast and so far it’s looking OK.

During 2021 I will took myself on a little Tree Pilgrimage. I walked to, and honoured, the trees that grow along and around the ‘Spine of Albion’. An Alignment, or Ley, that runs through the UK from the South Coast of England up and beyond the Highlands of Scotland. WHY did I do this? Because I am passionate about raising awareness of the utmost importance of trees to our very existence here on earth.
